Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha Dixon is apparently dating footballer John Carew. The former Mis-Teeq singer has been spotted out enjoying some romantic meals with the Norwegian Aston Villa player at exclusive London restaurants, according to The Sun. Alesha split from her husband, So Solid Crew's MC Harvey in 2006 after he cheated on her with pop star Javine Hylton. A source told the newspaper: "She deserves to be with someone nice after what she's been through. "She's so lovely and lights up every room she walks into. It's great she's found someone who makes her smile. "He's a gentle giant. He's a massive bloke, but a really nice guy." Alesha, 29, was devastated when her marriage ended but after winning the BBC dance contest last year she said: "Now I'm happy. Strictly gave me a zest for life." John, 28, is said to be strictly religious and is known for his charity work, contributing to organisations like Soccer Against Crime. Alesha told FHM magazine earlier this year that she is not fussy when it comes to men. She said: "I go for all sorts. I was speaking to a friend about this the other day and I realised I don't have a type. "I'm not restricting myself to black guys or white guys, brunettes or blondes. All types of looks are OK."
