TV Times tops picks for tonight

What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight three of the best shows on telly tonight for Saturday 25th November

Casualty, 9.10pm, BBC1

It’s Connie’s first day of chemo, and instead of letting Ethan hold her hand she sends him off to run the ED in her absence! Classic Mrs B. It’s all fun and games to start with, as Elle and Dylan tease him, but it soon descends into chaos. Can Ethan cope with the pressure? Meanwhile, Glen continues to be a thorn in Robyn’s side and takes a job as a hospital porter (bad idea!). With Dylan keeping a close eye on things, can Glen win over his critics? Rating: ****

The White Princess, 9.00pm, Drama

This dark yet entertaining period drama continues with Lizzie (Jodie Comer) giving birth to a son. Henry (Jacob Collins-Levy) finally has the heir he needs, but will he grant the princess’s wish and agree to free young Teddy from the Tower? Meanwhile, the king sends his Uncle Jasper to seek peace with the Duchess of Burgundy, but disaster awaits. Rating: ****

Strictly Come Dancing, 6.50pm, BBC1

The Blackpool illuminations are but a distant shimmer now, as our seven remaining couples return to the studio and get down to business. The celebrities will each have to learn two new routines – because just one technically perfect, showstopping routine isn’t tough enough to master! After their usual individual numbers, all the couples will take to the floor en masse for Strictly’s first ever ‘Pasodoblethon’, in which they’ll paso their sparkly socks off, as the judges vote them out one by one. It sounds like very entertaining chaos! Watch out for a performance from Kelly Clarkson on tomorrow night’s results show. Rating: *****

More previews tomorrow.
