Vardy vs Rooney: A Courtroom Drama, 9 pm, Channel 4/ All4 (box set)
The ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy made headlines earlier this year and we’ll be reliving the case in this drama which concludes tomorrow. Created using court transcripts, the hastily put-together miniseries retraces the High Court battle while attempting to hold up a mirror to the public’s obsession with celebrity culture, yet whether it transcends the tabloid headlines and internet memes is another matter. But Chanel Cresswell and Natalia Tena do sterling work as Coleen and Rebekah and Michael Sheen shines as Rooney’s barrister. ★★★★ SMA

The latest updates, reviews and unmissable series to watch and more!
Fabulous fashionista Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) is back to inject some ‘joie de vivre’ into our lives this Christmas as series three of the chic comedy-drama from Sex and the City’s Darren Star lands on Netflix. The 10-part series finds Emily facing major decisions, both professionally and in her love life. Will she stay in Paris and accept a job at her boss’s new marketing firm, or return to her native Chicago? Then, of course, there’s the messy love triangle with ‘hot chef’ Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and British banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). Who will she end up with? Oh là là! RM
Jane McDonald's Highland Christmas, 9 pm, Channel 5
Jane McDonald is going back to her roots to enjoy Christmas in the Scottish Highlands, experiencing the best of the season’s traditions in the area. Jane starts her journey in Edinburgh, where she explores the city’s Christmas market. Then, she makes her way up to the Highlands, where she’s treated to a warm welcome and gets to sample the best whisky the area has to offer before making some festive tree baubles. To get the maximum Christmassy atmosphere, Jane is staying in a cosy, firelit lodge in a wintry forest and goes to a candlelit carol service with some local children. ★★★★ NC
Best box set on TV tonight
The Flatshare, Paramount Plus
Tiffany and Leon are flatmates, but there's nothing conventional about their living arrangements. Despite sharing the same place, they've never actually met with Tiffany having the flat from 8 pm - 8 am, and Leon having it from 8 am - 8 pm. Over time the pair learn more about each other through post-it notes and start to develop an attraction to one another, even though they've never had an in-person conversation.
Jessica Brown Findlay and Anthony Welsh are excellent in the leading roles and with all six episodes now available on Paramount Plus, it's the perfect show for binge-watching. But will Tiffany and Leon actually become an item? You'll have to watch and find out!

Some of his favorite shows are What We Do In The Shadows, Bridgerton, Gangs of London, The Witcher, Doctor Who, and Ghosts. When he’s not watching TV or at the movies, Martin’s probably still in front of a screen playing the latest video games, reading, or watching the NFL.
