X Factor 2011: Final 32 revealed!

The final 32 acts who will compete for a place in the live finals of The X Factor 2011 have been revealed following the second boot camp show on Sunday night. The lucky hopefuls learned of their fate after the last stage of the boot camp challenge which saw them having to perform solo in front of a live audience of 5000 at London's Wembley Arena. And while some rose to the challenge - such as Craig Colton, Amelia Lily and Janet Devlin, described by the judges as "the one to beat" in the competition - others left the panel disappointed. The more eccentric likes of Goldie Cheung and Kitty Brucknell - who took to the stage in a glittery leotard festooned with lights - gave memorable enough turns to earn their places at the judges' house stage. At the end of the show the line-up was revealed, while the judges learned which category they would be mentoring this year. Gary Barlow is looking after the boys' category, Kelly Rowland is in charge of the girls, Tulisa has the groups while Louis Walsh once again is mentoring the over 28's. The boys also learned they will join Gary in Los Angeles, Kelly's girls will jet off to Miami, Tulisa's groups will perform in Greece while Louis' over's will travel to Barcelona. The show also saw Sian Phillips chosen as one of the final eight girls. However since the programme was recorded she has been given the boot from the show after it was revealed she had a criminal record which prevented her from getting a US visa to fly to Miami. She has since been replaced by Sarah Watson in the girls' category. Goldie Cheung - who is also rumoured to have left - was also heavily featured in the show, and will be seen in the judges' houses shows as she reportedly quit after being chosen for the live finals. Next weekend sees a double bill of judges' houses shows, at the end of which the 16 acts to make it through to this year's live shows will be revealed. The 32 semi-finalists are as follows: BOYS (Gary Barlow) Frankie Cocozza Marcus Collins Craig Colton Joe Cox Luke Lucas James Michael Max Vickers John Wilding GIRLS (Kelly Rowland) Misha Bryan Janet Devlin Sophie Habibis Amelia Lily Melanie McCabe Holly Repton Jade Richards Sarah Watson (replacing Sian Phillips) GROUPS (Tulisa Contostavlos) Boy v Girl The Estrellas The Keys The Lovettes Nu Vibe The Risk Rhythmix 2 Shoes OVER's (Louis Walsh) Samantha Brookes Kitty Brucknell Goldie Cheung Joseph Gilligan Jonjo Kerr Carolynne Poole Johnny Robinson Terry Winstanley
