Girl group Hope have been hit by rows and conflict with Simon Cowell over their choice of song for Saturday's X Factor, according to the papers. The Sun reports that the five-piece band - formed from five singers rejected at the boot camp stage of the show - ignored Cowell's requests for them to perform a Supremes number, insisting they sing something more modern. They will now perform the Christina Aguilera hit Hurt on the love-song themed show - and have also styled themselves this week. "It's amazing that Simon backed down - that never normally happens. Hope have a lot of girl power going on," a source told the paper. "Acts are never allowed to style themselves normally as they don't necessarily know what works on TV. But Simon agreed their jumpsuits weren't great last week." Meanwhile the Mirror reports that the band has been hit by in-fighting because of the decision to let 16-year-old Phoebe Brown sing all the lead vocals. The paper claims that at one point fellow band member Charlie Mole "stormed out of vocal rehearsals" as a result. The band are favourites to be eliminated from the show on Saturday night, after being in the bottom two on two previous occasions.
