Big Brother housemate Alexandra has denied that she was "bullying" people during her time on the show Speaking to Davina McCall on Friday's show the 23-year-old - who was given the boot earlier this week for allegedly intimidating other housemates - said she hadn't felt as though she was posing a threat to her fellow housemates. "For me, people can look at it how they want to but I lived in this house with them and I didn't feel that anybody felt threatened by me. I never felt like I was bullying people." "My theory is that you've got a problem with somebody, tell them. Nobody came to me and said anything to me." And she also pointed out that she had shown a softer side during her short stay in the house, even if viewers were not given a chance to see it. "If someone was upset I was the first person to console them," she said. "I was compassionate with a lot of people in the house and I don't think that side of me was shown as much as my other side. "The way I see it, I'm not going to play the hard life card because everyone does but I have come up through life defending myself and it's natural for me to do that." During the interview, Davina revealed that prior to the cancellation of Friday's eviction Alexandra had been surging ahead, with 87 per cent of the public vote. And once again she was quick to defend herself, saying that the public had only had a chance to see edited highlights of her time in the house. "On TV I could see why you might think that - but these people were living with me 24 hours a day and they saw me at my best and my worst. "I said if I got in the Big Brother house I would always be myself, and maybe in that kind of situation it's very very claustrophobic."
