The man buried under Ant and Dec is Toju Okorodudu, a stand-up comedian from London - and the man they hit the golden buzzer for in the findal round of auditions.

Toju was loved by judges which, for the first time in the show’s eight-year history, included Ant and Dec, who were filling in for the absent Simon Cowell.

Toju has been performing on and off for 20 years and says: “I’ve been doing impressions since I was at school and they always went down well - except with the teachers.

And Ant and Dec obviously thought Toju had become very good at it.

He did a brilliant Cilla Black impression and the audience roared at his Arnold Schwarzenegger routine.

Toju got a standing ovation from the judges - and then everyone got a shock.

Ant and walked out on stage and said to Toju: "Excuse us, there's something we've got to do."

They walked down to the judges' table and, together, hit the golden buzzer.

Alesha Dixon was thrilled. “I don’t know what to say, that really moved me. Ant and Dec thank you so much.”

David Walliams was full of praise for Toju. “There’s no one out there that I can think of right now who’s like that.”

So, Toju joins Amanda's golden act, Paddy and Nico, Alesha's golden act REAformed, David's controversial golden buzzer choice Cristian Spiridon and Simon's golden boys Bars and Melody in the live semi finals.

They've had a lot of laughs so far in this series - will Ant and Dec have the last laugh with Toju?

Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals begin on Monday, May 26, on ITV.
