Libby and Charlie have secured themselves a spot in Sunday night's Britain's Got Talent final after being chosen as the judges' Wildcard.
Friday night's live semi-final saw the dancers narrowly miss out on the final when Act X and Jonathan Goodwin secured the final two spots.
But, as per BGT tradition, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were given the chance to give one lucky contestant another shot at scooping the £250,000 prize money and that all-important slot at the Royal Variety performance in the form of their 'Wildcard' act.
And, this year, they chose to give the coveted spot to Libby and Charlie, after they won over the judges and the audience on Friday night - despite only finding out they had made it through to the semi-final on Wednesday when Brotherhood were forced to pull out.
The news was announced on Twitter on Saturday following a string of 'tense deliberations' between the judges.
'WILDCARD UNVEILED! Congratulations to Libby and Charlie who, after tense deliberations between the Judges, will join our talented ten in Sunday’s grand #BGT Final,' Britain's Got Talent tweeted.
While most viewers thought 'talented' Libby and Charlie were 'deserving' winners of the Wildcard, others disagreed and thought other acts would have been a better choice.
Popular choices among disgruntled viewers included The Haunting and comedian, John Archer.
'I'm disappointed in this Wildcard John Archer or The Haunting would of been better. Should of let the public choose,' one online user tweeted.
And, they weren't the only ones to suggest the public choose the Wildcard next time.
'Definitely the WRONG choice, wildcard should be chosen by the public NOT the judges. They basically just went for the easy option #BGT,' another said.
Libby and Charlie join Dave and Finn, Flakefleet Primary School, 4MG, Siobhan Phillips, Colin Thackery, Kojo Anim, Ben Hart, Mark McMullan, X and Jonathan Goodwin.
Britain's Got Talent draws to a close on Sunday at 7.30pm on ITV.
