Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has revealed how she has become addicted to tanning since her divorce from Preston. Chantelle, who split from the Ordinary Boys singer after just over a year of marriage, told Heat magazine that Preston's controlling ways prompted her to dramatically change her looks. "I think it's all part of the cover-up for me at the moment. All the make-up is a barrier. I don't want to be orange, but I need to go on holiday to get a natural tan. "I know I look really orange now, but I'd rather be orange than really pale." She admits to having used sunbeds but says she was banned from using them by Preston: "I wasn't allowed on a sunbed - and if I did, all hell would break loose. In the end, it was such an ordeal! I just didn't bother." She added: "I felt as if I wasn't allowed my make-up and my fake tan." Chantelle, who has just started dating Jennifer Ellison's ex-boyfriend Tony Richardson, added that she knew from the start that the marriage was doomed to failure. "He (Preston) suddenly changed into this phoney and had a pipe and stuff! That's the whole fakeness of it. He wasn't like that on Big Brother, he was just normal. "But I don't know what the real side of him is - all I know is that I'm glad I'm out of it." The latest issue of Heat magazine is on sale now.
