Celebrity Big Brother star Jade Goody is said to be 'devastated' after suffering a miscarriage. The troubled 26-year-old was nearly three months pregnant when she lost the baby she had been expecting with boyfriend Jack Tweed, 19. She had recently been photographed proudly displaying her bump and told newspapers she was 'thrilled' at the prospect of giving birth to a third child (she has two sons by her ex-boyfriend, Jeff Brazier). Jade's miscarriage is just the latest in a series of blows to her personal and public life. Earlier this week she went to court to see a former childminder convicted of stealing £12,000 from her. Late last year she was also rushed to hospital after experiencing agonising pains, though she was later discharged. Her career has suffered badly since the race row on Celebrity Big Brother, when she was accused of the racially-motivated bullying of Indian actress Shilpa Shetty. 'Jade is absolutely devastated,' a source told the Sun. 'The pregnancy came as a surprise, though she and Jack were looking forward to the baby after a very tough few months. She was taken to the hospital and told there was nothing the doctors could do. It was very early days still.'
