After suspecting that he's the father of baby Susie, Aidan Connor takes his own life, leaving his friends and family reeling.
At Johnny and Jenny's leaving party, Aidan Connor sees baby Susie - who he thinks is Toyah Battersby and Peter Barlow's daughter - and starts to put two and two together. Then, after a heart-to-heart with Eva Price, she thinks he wants to get back together. But later in the week, Aidan's family are devastated to discover that he's taken his own life...

In the Rovers, baby Susie is being passed around - with parents Toyah and Peter full of pride.
But when Aidan sees the baby, and Toyah reacts awkwardly, it makes him think...
Having found out where Eva is staying, Aidan pays her a visit – has he worked out that Susie is his daughter?
The next day, when Aidan doesn't arrive at work, dad Johnny calls round to his flat and realises that Aidan has killed himself.
Jenny offers support to a distraught Johnny.
Meanwhile, emotional Eva returns to Weatherfield and cuddles baby Susie.
Johnny blames himself for not seeing that Aidan needed help…
…so he quizzes Toyah and Eva about Aidan's movements on the evening of his death…
