Cheryl Cole has been filming scenes on the set of Coronation Street!
The Former X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer is swapping chart success for cobbles and a hotpot when she joins the Weatherfield soap as part of the Text Santa charity ITV spectacular on December 20.
Cheryl will turn up at the Rovers Return looking for her old school chum Tina, who she's expecting to join her in Newcastle for her mum's Christmas party.
Cheryl's trip to the boozer descends into chaos as she meets Corrie characters Tina (Michelle Keegan), Steve (Simon Gregson), Michelle (Kym Marsh) and Kirk (Andy Whyment).
"Coronation Street has always been part of my life, we'd all watch it as kids together," says Cheryl. "It's surreal to be part of something I've watched my whole life."
