You’ll never guess who it is… [Written by Claire Crick]

Just when it looked like Coronation Street’s Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) had found something to smile about as her office romance with Imran Habeeb takes off, it has been revealed that the soap has lined up another woman who catches the solicitor’s eye.

In a new love triangle that is definitely going to end in tears, The Sun has revealed that none other than Leanne’s very own sister, Toyah Battersby, is to become her love rival.

An insider reportedly told the newspaper: “They both don’t know (about each other) and Imran knows this, so is quite happy with how things are going and doesn’t do anything about it.

“His ego goes through the roof and he’s really enjoying the attention. He thinks he’s living the dream having two women on the go.

“But you don’t mess with a Battersby, and no doubt it’ll come crashing down for him.”

Leanne And Imran Hit It Off

Leanne and Imran hit it off when she applied for the PA job at Barlow Legal services and it wasn’t long before the pair were mixing business with pleasure.

There was a slight hiccup in their romance when Imran’s father suddenly passed away last week after suffering a stroke at his 60th birthday party.

Grieving Imran told Leanne their night of passion only happened because he was upset, but after an apology it looked like the pair were back on track.

But it looks like Leanne’s happiness won’t last for long with Toyah waiting in the wings, probably hoping Imran is the man who will take her mind off her recent split from Peter Barlow.

With both sisters lusting after the suit-wearing solicitor and being none the wiser they’re seeing the same man, how long will it take for the siblings to work out they’re being played?

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
