Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent: 'I'm OK kissing girls'

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has revealed she has no qualms about kissing women.

"Kissing a girl is like kissing a boy - close your eyes and hope for the best!" said Brooke.

The 21-year-old, who plays lesbian Sophie Webster on the ITV soap, admitted she doesn't even get nervous about the kissing scenes, after previously locking lips with Sacha Parkinson, who played Sophie's ex, Sian.

"I don't get nervous, but Amy Kelly, who plays Maddie, has never done it before," Brooke also told Closer magazine.

Brooke, who has been dating footballer Josh McEachran for two years, revealed she loves being friends with former co-star Helen Flanagan, who played Sophie's elder sister Rosie.

"Helen's so funny… Something terrible could happen to me and she'll say, 'Oh, that's awful'. Then she'll drop her bronzer on the floor, it'll crack and she'll be in floods of tears," she admitted.
