Coronation Street star Alison King has revealed that she wanted to punch her personal trainer while trying to shed her baby weight. The actress – who plays Carla Connor in the soap and is soon set to return to the Street – has gone from 10st 11lb to 9st 4lb since giving birth to baby Daisy Mae in February. She told New! magazine: "I had a personal trainer twice a week and he was wicked - he made me do circuit training and boxing - by the end of the third circuit, I'd be swearing and ready to punch his face in!" But Alison added that there was no pressure from Coronation Street bosses to lose the weight, adding: "I did it for myself, really. I know how much I'd moan about it if I didn't." The actress also revealed that her and her Coronation Street sound technician partner Adam Huckett might be planning to get married saying: "Probably. Eventually. If he gets a ring!"
