Corrie fans fall in love with baby Suzie and plead with Eva not to give her away as first pic is revealed

Will Eva give up little Suzie?

Coronation Street viewers said a collective “Aww” as the soap revealed the first picture of Eva Price cuddling her daughter Suzie and begged her not to give up her newborn.

Eva has surprisingly managed to keep her pregnancy secret and has agreed to give Suzie to Toyah Battersby – but now she’s met her little girl will she actually go through with it?

“Don’t give that baby away,” pleaded one viewer, while another predicted “She’ll keep the baby”.

Making a reference to the fact Corrie had described Suzie as "Baby Barlow" another explained: "It's Barlow if she hands the baby over to Peter [Barlow] and Toyah. I hope she keeps the baby."

Everyone agreed how sweet the pair looked together, with one viewer simply writing: "Awwww"

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva in the ITV soap, also posted the snap on Instagram, saying: "Sooooooo this happening..."

Talking on Loose Women last week, Catherine described Eva’s predicament as a very tangled web.

And speaking about why she was leaving the show, Catherine previously told The Sun: “Coronation Street has been a dream job for me which is why this was such a difficult decision to leave.

“Eva has been such fun to play over the last seven years, and who knows, one day she might storm the cobbles of Weatherfield again.

“In the meantime I’m excited about the future, new acting projects, and spending time with my family.”

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
