Secrets are revealed, jealousy strikes and romance blossoms on Coronation Street
Coronation Street gets off to a dramatic start when Leanne Tilsley suffers stomach pains and is rushed to hospital after friend Michelle McDonald guesses she's pregnant. It's a nasty scare for Leanne, but it brings out the maternal extinct in Michelle, who tells shocked husband Steve she wants a baby of her own!
Elsewhere on the Street, Kate Connor's fuming when she finds out Maria Connor has taken in her ex-fiancee, Caz Hammond, and David Platt appears to be getting on with his life far too calmly in the wake of the tragic death of his wife, Kylie. How concerned should his family and vicar Billy Mayhew be about him?
Meanwhile, Johnny Connor gets a bad case of jealousy when he finds his recent love interest, Jenny Bradley, flirting with one of his Underworld clients, and Sarah Platt's happy to be released from hospital for the day, but not so happy that it's to attend Kylie's funeral. Will she crack under the stress?
On the romance front, Todd Grimshaw's secret affair with Billy is in danger of being exposed as Todd's mum, Eileen, gets suspicious, and Rana Habeeb and Zeedan Nazir settle down on the sofa together. Will they be getting up close and personal?
