It's judgement day for child abuser Nathan who goes on trial for raping teenager Bethany. Elsewhere, Daniel sniffs a story for his editor, and Shona's birthday meal is spoilt by Dane.
As Nathan gets ready to appear in court, he has Mel onside to get rid of Bethany at all costs. Mel tells Bethany she's driving to the police station to testify about Nathan, but really the brainwashed victim is still under her evil boyfriend's spell. Pulling up by the railway line, she drags Bethany from the car and starts to pull her towards the live tracks. Will the teen escape?
With Bethany absent from court, Nathan's chances of getting off the hook are improving by the minute...
Meanwhile, Daniel sniffs a story when Jasmeen has a go at Phelan about Vinny and the Calcutta Street flats scam. The eager news hound interviews Anna and then asks Phelan for his side of the story. Clearly, he has no idea what he's getting into...
