It was a good night for Beth Tweddle and Matt Lapinskas on Sunday's Dancing On Ice as they both notched up some of the highest scores so far this series.
Matt initially set the standard for the evening - which featured each of the celebrities skating solo for part of their routine in a twist known as 'the Leveller' - by picking up 28.5 points from the judges for his efforts.
The EastEnders star donned feathers and gothic make-up for his ballet-inspired routine, which was rather different from his previous efforts - but his change of direction proved popular.
"You gave me goosebumps," Ashley Roberts told him, while Karen Barber added: "You didn't even know you had this dark side to show us but I'm so glad you did."
Beth, meanwhile, managed to top Matt's score just moments later, scoring an impressive 30 points for her routine to the Emeli Sande ballad Clown.
The judges praised the gymnast for injecting emotion into the routine as well as technical brilliance, with Jason telling her: "I just love you, you have clearly blossomed."
However it wasn't such a good night for Samia Ghadie and Joe Pasquale, who found themselves in joint last place with 18 points apiece.

While Joe's 60s inspired routine to Hippy Hippy Shake inspired more giggles than gasps - with Jason commenting, "Not enough hippie and way too much shake," Samia's score came as a surprise, given her rave reviews on last weekend's show.
"The team fell apart when Sylvain left your side," Robin Cousins said of her solo skate, while Jason added: "This shows you're not up to par as a solo skater."
Sunday's Dancing On Ice also featured a special performance from Torvill and Dean in which they skated against an animated moving backdrop.
