Dancing On Ice went wrong. The star, who plays Emmerdale's David Metcalfe, was given the prop for this Sunday night's circus-themed show, in which he will play a lion tamer. But The Sun reports that Matthew was forced to take a break from the rink after accidentally whipping his groin area during rehearsals. A source revealed: "The whip's quite long and he accidentally caught himself between the legs. It would have been all right if it had happened just once, but after three times he was in serious pain." Remaining contestants Chico, Jennifer Ellison, Jorgie Porter and Chemmy Alcott will also be skating with props. Ski racer Chemmy is clearly enjoying her magician routine, which will see her skate with a rope, cards and a cane. She told Twitter followers: "Very excited love my prog and prop and partner."
