Jennifer Metcalfe has wished Samia Ghadie good luck with her ex Sylvain Longchambon, but claims he is still in love with her. The Hollyoaks star split from the professional skater at Christmas after two years of dating, and has spoken out for the first time about the rumours Sylvain has fallen for Coronation Street actress Samia, his new partner on Dancing On Ice. Jennifer told Now magazine: "I really hope it works out. She seems like a nice girl." But she added: "If it was me I wouldn't want to start a relationship with someone who was still in love with his partner." Jennifer, 29, revealed Sylvain confessed to her he had developed feelings for Samia during training for the skating show. But Jennifer claims he then visited her in Whitley Bay, where she is starring in panto, and told her he 'adored' her, and they were 'still together completely as a couple' even though he had admitted feelings for the Corrie actress. The Hollyoaks star - who met Sylvain when she competed on the show in 2011 - claimed he hadn't wanted Samia as a partner. "He was disappointed. He wanted Beth Tweddle... It was me who told him Samia seemed lovely and I remember telling him to not worry about the lifts because she's tiny and light. But he wasn't in any way excited - he was downbeat about Samia." She also revealed: "At the start of the series I went down and met her and we got on really well. We were both talking non-stop. I don't judge her. People are capable of doing anything." Samia denies she is dating Sylvain, but they were pictured enjoying drinks with friends after Sunday's show and Sylvain has since changed his Twitter bio image to himself and Samia.
