Danny Dyer's swearing forces EastEnders reshoots

EastEnders bosses have revealed that working with Danny Dyer is not always easy - because of his tendency to turn the air blue on set.

According to the Sunday Mirror the notoriously potty-mouthed actor - who plays landlord Mick Carter in the soap - has been banned from using the F-word during filming but is not finding it easy.

And his inability to stop swearing - or work out how to pull a pint in the Queen Vic - has forced reshoots on a number of occasions.

"He won't be doing a live episode that's for sure," co-star Shane Richie joked, while Kellie Bright, who plays his screen wife Linda, said she had had to give him training behind the bar.

"He still can't pull the perfect pint," she revealed. "He's not got the technique and he's had a lesson from me."

"Danny is much loved by everyone on set but the bad language is not an act," a show source told the paper.

"It's become so much a part of his vocab that he slips back into it all the time."

The Carters - who have proven a hit with EastEnders viewers - are set to be further boosted by the arrival of son Lee, played by Danny-Boy Hatchard.
