EastEnders: is this man Sharon’s father?

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Stephen Marcus (he played Nick the Greek) has been spotted filming on location with EastEnders.

Stephen will be involved in Sharon Mitchell’s search for her biological father, reports the Daily Star.

So, is he playing Sharon’s father? Is her search over?

Stephen tweeted last week: “Final day shooting on EastEnders for now”.

That suggests we’re going to see him more than once.

For a few episodes, we were kept wondering whether Ian Beale's dad Pete had played away, which would have made Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Sharon (Letitia Dean) half brother and sister. But we know that’s not the case now.

We’ll have to wait a few more weeks before we find out if Stephen's face is the face of Sharon’s father.
