EastEnders' Shabnam Masood (Rakhee Thakrar) is looking forward to her upcoming marriage to Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) and she's busy making plans for the birth of their baby.
She's disappointed when her husband-to-be tells her that decorating the nursery will have to wait as he plans to go on a stag do abroad.
What she doesn't know is that Kush has been planning a surprise for her, and his stag do is just a cover story.
After talking to Martin Fowler (James Bye) about the stag do, Shabnam heads back to the flat to confront Kush and is delighted to find him hard at work in the nursery.
Kush reveals how he wanted to surprise Shabnam and they share a tender moment together.
Their happy moment is soon interrupted, however, when Kush's mum, Carmel (Bonnie Langford), turns up, clearly upset and carrying a suitcase.
Shabnam tries to get to the bottom of what's wrong with Carmel, but her future mother-in-law isn't forthcoming.
After some gentle coaxing, Carmel opens up and reveals her ex-husband is selling their house and she has nowhere to live.
Will Shabnam be able to play happy families with Kush and his mum until she finds a place of her own?
