EastEnders star Aaron Sidwell is being written out of the soap - as his character struggles with the fact that he could be bisexual. Aaron will be at the centre of a huge storyline as Steven snogs both Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) AND Jane's gay brother, Christian Clarke (John Partridge). Steven, who only returned to Albert Square last September, will be seen leaving in May, according to The Sun. Last night an insider said: "Aaron's contract is not being renewed but he will leave with a bang. There is a big exit story." But they refused to deny that Steven could be KILLED OFF. Upon his return to Walford, it was clear that Steven was battling some demons as he stalked Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) before taking him hostage. During a struggle, Steven accidentally shot Ian's wife Jane (Laurie Brett) in the stomach, which resulted in her having a hysterectomy. Steven was then sent to a psychiatric hospital and tried to kill himself, until Stacey stopped him. The pair have since become firm friends - and their relationship will soon take another turn when they kiss. But Steven doesn't take things any further with Stacey as he fights his feelings for Christian, who has already flirted with him. The insider added: "It's an extremely odd love triangle."
