Ex-EastEnders star Emer Kenny marries presenter Rick Edwards

Former EastEnders actress Emer Kenny married TV presenter Rick Edwards over the bank holiday weekend after a five-year romance.

The pair shared gorgeous snaps on Instagram from their wedding at London's Kew Gardens on Sunday, which was attended by guests including Alexa Chung.

Former T4 host Rick shared a snap of the couple walking down the aisle with the caption: "NO BIG DEAL GUYS."

Emer – who played Zsa Zsa Carter in EastEnders - took over sharing images from the reception, including a mash-up video of Alexa throwing shapes on the dancefloor.

Emer, 26, wore a floor-length ivory gown and clutched a beautiful bouquet of pastel flowers.

Meanwhile Rick, 37, looked dapper in a three-piece grey suit.

The pair appear to have quickly settled into married life as both updated followers of how their first few days as man and wife were going.

Emer shared a picture of Rick giving her a foot massage with the caption, “What husbands are for? Girls you gotta get one of these.”

Rick posted a picture of his wedding band while taking a bath looking out over a beautiful garden vista at Cowley Manor hotel in the Cotswolds.

“It’s true what they say: married life IS tough. #howzeeeeeeeee,” he joked.

To one fan who said his wife was a lucky girl, Rick replied: "I'm a lucky boy!"

But the honeymoon would have to wait as their packed schedules took precedent.

Emer took a snap of herself at a photoshoot on Tuesday, writing, “Bring your husband to work day. (Who needs a honeymoon?)”

“One more because I’m in a rainy car park in Gloucestershire and I’m not ready for it to be over,” she wrote on a final snap of their wedding day.
