Kara Tointon has admitted she has cut down on her Christmas presents this year. The former EastEnders actress, who is starring alongside real-life boyfriend Joe Swash in a pantomime production of Snow White at the Bristol Hippodrome, said that as her family got bigger they decided to not buy as many gifts for each other. "We've actually decided to chill out on the present thing because my family, we get bigger and bigger every year," said Kara. She went on: "It's got to the point where on Christmas Eve I'm running around the shopping mall sweating and thinking 'oh my God, am I going to make it?'. "And then all of a sudden I wrap it up and it's Christmas Day, it's all over and I haven't really enjoyed Christmas. "So this year we've said one lovely gift each, and we'll enjoy going for dinners and enjoying the Christmas period without being ridiculous." Kara also revealed she was looking forward to eating lots this Christmas. "I love being at home, eating lots of food - lots of desserts," she laughed.
