EastEnders star Letitia Dean has revealed that Sharon Watts will be left stunned by a pair of marriage proposals over the New Year. Viewers have seen the Albert Square stalwart torn between boyfriend Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen and former fiance Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) since she returned to Walford in the summer. And Letitia told Inside Soap that she would be rendered "completely speechless" when both men pop the question in the New Year's Day episode. "I can't say what she's going to do next. She might decide not to say yes to either of them, you know. You'll just have to wait and see," the actress said. Letitia admitted that the proposals leave Sharon "conflicted" - adding that she has no idea what to do next. "Sharon has no idea how Phil really feels about her. She has a great fondness for him, and he's always been there for her," she said. "Sharon's never wondered about whether she loves Phil though - marrying him isn't something that has crossed her mind until he proposes." "Jack is really kind, generous and very loving. Sharon liked him from the moment she met him on the first day she returned."
