Naomie Harris: I'd be up for an EastEnders cameo

Naomie Harris has revealed that she would consider making a guest appearance on EastEnders.

The actress's mother Lisselle was a screenwriter for the BBC soap, and Naomie admitted that they do watch EastEnders together.

"One day, maybe," she said.

She added: "We are fans in our house of EastEnders. Yes, of course!"

Naomie, who plays as Nelson Mandela's ex-wife Winnie in Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, is no stranger to the small screen, having previously starred in children's adventure television series Runaway Bay and children's sci-fi TV show The Tomorrow People. She has also featured in the dramas White Teeth and Accused.

Other celebrities who have appeared on the BBC soap include Robbie Williams, David Walliams and Boris Johnson.
