EastEnders star Scott Maslen revealed he could never be a love rat like Jack as he married his long-term girlfriend Estelle Rubio. The 37-year-old actor - who plays ex-cop Jack Branning in the BBC1 soap - recently tied the knot in a lavish ceremony attended by EastEnders cast members including Barbara Windsor, Steve McFadden and Jo Joyner, reports Hello magazine. Actress Samantha Janus - whose on-screen character Ronnie Mitchell dated Jack Branning - was matron of honour. Scott told Hello: "I am associated with being a bit of a Jack-the-lad because of the parts I play, but I don't understand people who cheat, and I cannot be with a friend who cheats. "I want a long-lasting kind of love and I believe I will have that with Estelle." He added: "It's been a very intense period for us both but it was the most beautiful day of my life. I feel my life is really coming together: we have a fantastic son, have moved into our dream home and our careers are going well. "And most importantly, we are still madly in love. I can't wait to get on and enjoy being Mr and Mrs Maslen, and then I'm trying for another baby as soon as possible." Scott apparently burst into tears when he saw Estelle in her wedding dress for the first time. He was so overwhelmed that he had trouble uttering his vows and at times had to comforted by Estelle, 33, who reassuringly stroked his cheek.
