Emmerdale stars Michelle Hardwick (Vanessa) and Adam Fielding (Kirin) chatted to What's on TV at the British Soap Awards about the upcoming DNA drama that's about to have a big impact on the odd couple.
Village vet Vanessa has been in a real spin since she discovered she was pregnant. She's still unsure whether the father of her unborn child is her boyfriend, Kirin, or the couple's friend, Adam, with whom she had a secret one-night stand a while back.
Under pressure, Vanessa finally carries out a DNA test. But things get complicated, as Kirin gets closer to discovering Vanessa and Adam's big secret. And then Kirin's disapproving dad, Rakesh stirs up even more trouble!
"Vanessa does a DNA test with Adam," reveals Michelle. "Unfortunately Kirin catches them in the act. And then, as she is waiting for the DNA results to come, Rakesh interferes. He does a bit of meddling so things are not as straightforward as they could be."

"I want to meet Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning in EastEnders," reveals Adam. "He's a great actor and I want to work with him one day."
