Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson: 'Carly looks elegant, but has the mouth of a docker!' (VIDEO)

Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson says her character Carly Hope's entrance is spectacular and funny, but the wedding dress she's wearing comes off a distinct second best!

Gemma told What's on TV she turns up in Emmerdale on the way to her wedding and demands that her estranged dad, Bob, accompanies her to the nuptials...

While the scenes are funny, they weren't exactly fun to film, she said: "The wedding dress was gorgeous. It's a corseted one so it was really really uncomfortable after about an hour or so and I was in it for about 12 hours. It was freezing cold, it was when we had all the snow. But it was a gorgeous dress and it's a shame, but we had to get it all muddy and ripped which will all play out on screen...

"But yeah it's very funny, very comical, her arguing and running around in this dress. She looks elegant, but she's got mouth of a docker!"
