Both England and Scotland – and their managers – have a lot to prove in this World Cup qualifying group match
A World Cup qualifying group match that will stir the passionate (though probably not the purist), England vs Scotland at Wembley is bound to be a pretty raucous game (kick-off 7.45pm).
England, under interim manager Gareth Southgate, were anaemic in their last game, against Slovenia, while Scotland's coach Gordon Strachan is hanging on to his job by the flimsiest of threads after a dire 3-0 thumping by Slovakia.
The Three Lions are favourites to win tonight, but the Scots will undoubtedly be up for this, out to prove their worth and ensure that they will be in Russia in 2018 for the World Cup finals.
