George Clarke looks back at his favourite seaside builds from Amazing Spaces, including the project he took on with master craftsman Will Hardie. Together, they pushed the humble beach hut to its limits by making it float in the open sea. We're not sure we'd want to set sail on the UK's choppy waters on that one!
There's also a multi-functional beach hut in Bournemouth, built for less than £400, and a 21st-century version of the Victorian bathing hut in Margate. George also looks abroad at two of his favourite waterside retreats in Germany – an incredible lifeguard tower and a holiday home with views across the water.
