It’s been six years since a Premier League side was in the Champions League final, when Chelsea saw off favourites Bayern Munich.

Tonight, it’s Liverpool’s turn, as they look to knock Real Madrid off their pedestal and stop them winning the competition for the third year running (k-o 7.45pm).

While the Spanish have the offensive weaponry of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Isco et al, Liverpool will look to Mo Salah, their record-breaking goal scorer, along with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané.

They smashed through Manchester City, a team many thought could win this competition – can they do the same to Real? Highlights are on ITV at 10.30pm.
