Jean is stunned when Sean walks back into her life and they come up with a surprise plan, while Honey makes a decision about whether to move in with Adam.

Stacey and Kat are reeling after finding out that Sean has turned up in the Square. Concerned that Jean might bail on her chemo appointment, they decide to keep the news of Sean’s return quiet for now.

Kat and Stacey find Jean in the Vic, furiously cleaning in an attempt to steady her nerves. Shirley tries to encourage her to take things easy. With such big news weighing on her mind, Stacey cracks and blurts out that Sean is back. A stunned Jean is furious that Stacey didn’t tell her right away and, as predicted, refuses to go to her appointment.

Just as things reach boiling point, Sean walks in. Jean is delighted to be reunited with her son and all her anger is forgotten. Sean takes his mum to her hospital appointment and he’s overwhelmed by what she’s going through.

Jean refuses to talk about the future, preferring to be in denial. Back in the Square, Stacey’s concerned that Sean’s reappearance is too much and she has some harsh words for him. Sean’s about to leave when Jean suggests they have a holiday together to catch up and Sean agrees.

Honey is taken aback when Billy makes her breakfast and she starts to wonder whether moving in with Adam is such a good idea after all. But after a surprise incident and some consideration, Honey decides to live with Adam as soon as possible. Billy is gutted.

Also, Tiffany encourages a nervous Bernadette to arrange a date with Brooke.

EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Thursday at 7.30 pm.
