At the Slaters’, Stacey confronts her mum about what the doctor said but Jean manages to cover. Kat gets home and Stacey tells her that she needs to step up and help out more with Cherry, as Jean can’t deal with it.

Kat heads to Jean’s room to look for something of Cherry’s and she’s stunned when she discovers an appointment letter… Kat realises that Jean may have cancer and she tries to comfort her. Terrified, she demands that Kat keep the news a secret from Stacey.

Rainie heads to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. But there’s a big shock in store for her when she spots Stuart. Keeping out of sight, Rainie listens as Stuart spills all about living with Dot.

Also, Jay’s concerned when Ruby ignores his calls and when he tries to see her she shuts the door in his face. Meanwhile, Mitch ropes Karen into looking after Bailey again.
