Callum and Stuart Highway are stunned by a face from the past, Lisa Fowler's worried about Bex Fowler and it's first day back for Jack Branning.

EastEnders' Stuart Highway is secretly pleased that his brother Callum Highway’s date with Ben Mitchell was a disaster. He avoids revealing that he’s relieved things didn’t work out when he’s interrupted by an unwelcome visitor… Dad Jonno Highway is in the Square, much to Stuart’s distaste.

He warns Jonno to stay away from him and Callum. When Jonno spots Callum on the Square, however, he approaches him and things get heated between them. Will Callum stand up to his bullying dad?

Callum finds out that Stuart scuppered his date with Ben and he tries to smooth things over between them. Ben isn’t interested and Callum is crestfallen. When Lola Pearce encourages Callum to talk things through with Ben, he heads over to see him in The Vic. Callum asks Ben on another date but they’re interrupted by Jonno, who has found out that Whitney walked out on the wedding. Will Callum admit to his dad that he’s gay?

Lisa Fowler is concerned about teenager Bex Fowler’s state of mind and she tries to ask daughter Louise Mitchell if everything’s okay with her friend. When Louise can’t help, Lisa talks to Bex’s mum Sonia Fowler, revealing she thinks Bex is not coping. Meanwhile, Bex struggles when she thinks about having to leave home for university and she wallows in memories of her late ex Shakil Kazemi.

Also, Jack Branning feels overwhelmed on his first day back in the police force. Daniel Cook concedes when friend Jean Slater encourages him to put together a bucket list.

Ben Mitchell’s friend Tubbs tells him that they have a new customer for their dodgy money-lending scheme…
