Tiffany Butcher has a tempting idea for Keegan Baker, Mel Owen lets slip a few secrets, and Lola Pearce worries about Jay Mitchell.
Tiffany Butcher has a furious confrontation with Dotty Cotton in Monday’s episode of EastEnders (8pm, see our TV Guide for full listings). Angry with Dotty for sabotaging fiancé Keegan Baker’s business, Tiff insists that Dotty put things right. Keegan, meanwhile, is desperate for work and he begs Ian Beale for a job.
But when Ian makes a few digs, Keegan loses it. Things take a turn for the better when Tiff reveals that Dotty’s going to sort things for him. But Keegan soon finds himself in trouble with Tiff’s aunt Sonia Fowler, who has a go at him for taking out his anger on Ian. Fuming that her beloved is under attack from every side, Tiff marches Keegan out, suggesting they elope!
Mel Owen is determined to give Louise Mitchell a birthday to remember, despite Louise’s insistence that she doesn’t want a party. Approaching Louise’s boyfriend Keanu Taylor, Mel suggests they do something to celebrate a pregnant Louise’s big day. When Mel lets slip that the move to Portugal is back on, Keanu is astonished, confronting Louise’s mum Lisa Fowler over the revelation.
Lisa drops a bombshell on Keanu and that’s not the only shock in store when Mel later hints that she knows his secret… Meanwhile, Ben Mitchell warns Mel to back off hassling his stepmum Sharon Mitchell. But when Mel mentions that a Mitchell family secret is being kept hidden, he’s intrigued. Ben confronts a panicky Sharon, who tries to play down Mel’s words.

Jay Mitchell denies that Lola Pearce has anything to worry about over his intentions for the funeral of thug Terry Bates. When Lola has a word with her granddad Billy Mitchell, however, she makes an alarming discovery. Billy reveals that funeral director Jay has something in mind for the man who was responsible for killing his father. Lola asks Ben to have a word with Jay and stop him doing anything stupid. Ben agrees to talk to Jay but what will he tell him?
Also, Tina Carter spots Shelley, the mum that her sister Shirley Carter punched. Ian ropes in mum Kathy Beale and son Bobby Beale to help him with his application to be a local councillor.
