EastEnders spoilers: Will Max Branning leave the Square for good?
Max Branning makes a decision about his future, Stacey Slater is determined to out Ruby Fowler’s lies and Tiffany attracts some unwanted attention.
Max Branning’s days in the Square seem to be numbered in Friday’s episode of EastEnders (8.35 pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).
Max Branning and Mick Carter are still squaring up to each other following Mick’s insistence that Max will meet a grisly end if he keeps hanging around his wife Linda Carter.
Stepping in to try and cool things between the pair, Max’s brother Jack Branning convinces Mick to leave. But when he realises what games Max has been up to, he is horrified.
Mick finds Linda and insists to her that if Max is around them it’s going to be impossible for them to move on. He warns her that Max’s obsession with her will destroy them.
Realising that she needs to sort things out once and for all, Linda visits Max. She tells him that she doesn't love him and she never will. A desperate Max is gutted as Linda insists that he never speak to her again and says he needs to leave Walford. When she blanks his attempts to say that he’s in love with her, he is despondent.
Jack realises that Max has burned all his bridges in Albert Square and he tells his brother he should find somewhere else to live.
Realising that Jack is right, a broken Max heads to the tube station with his granddaughter little Abi Branning. With even Jack turning against him he knows that there is nothing to stay for. As he walks to the station with Abi, he makes a big decision…
Stacey Slater is sure that Ruby Fowler is lying about being pregnant with Martin Fowler’s baby. Determined to out her former friend, Stacey heads to the club after telling Kush Kazemi to meet her there, pretending she wants to make up with Ruby.
At the club, Stacey waits for Kush to arrive before she confronts Ruby and she reveals exactly why she’s there… Can she prove that Ruby is a liar?
Meanwhile, Tiffany attracts attention from some city boys in the club and she laughingly shrugs them off, insisting she’s married. Dotty Cotton witnesses the exchange and she gets an idea...
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Monday 8.05 pm.
