Kicking off at the point where most romcoms end, this engaging movie begins with San Francisco chef Jason Segel proposing to English girlfriend Emily Blunt.

She’s overjoyed, but before they can walk down the aisle fate throws a series of obstacles in their path, from the shotgun-wedding of Blunt's sister (Alison Brie) to the demands of getting her career as an academic psychologist off the ground.

And when she lands a university job in snowy Michigan, the wedding is put on ice...

Though it's as substantial as air and way too long, Blunt and Segel are amiable companions and the fun ending is well worth the wait.
