The girls are all in hospital for an indefinite amount of time, which obviously has a huge impact on their families.

Jess, 17, has been to nine different hospitals since she was first sectioned at 13 years old, and her parents make a 300-mile round trip to visit every week.

Jade, 17, has been in hospital for 18 months and is hoping to be back home before her 18th birthday, while 16-year-old Erin is about to be discharged, but leaving the security of a hospital brings its own complications, too.
