Great British Car Journeys delivers another bucketload of charm thanks to Peter Davison, Christopher Timothy and some lovely old cars

There’s a lovely trip to the seaside for former Dr Who Peter Davison and EastEnders actor Christopher Timothy in this week’s Great British Car Journeys.

They're never going to both fit in there!

They set off from the New Forest and drive along the glorious Jurassic Coast Road through Dorset and Devon (Saturday, 8pm, see our TV Guide for full details).

As well as indulging in some 1930s-style camping, they also try out some lovely retro vehicles including a Morris Cowley, which was famous Devonian Agatha Christie’s favourite car.

Former Time Lord Peter, meanwhile, takes a spin in iconic Doctor Who car Bessie, as driven by Jon Pertwee when he was in the role.
