The competition is really heating up – and some of the creativity on display here is stunning.

It's the quarter-finals, and after last week's shock twist the pressure is on. Judges Keith Brymer Jones and Kate Malone have what Kate calls 'a lovely challenge' for the Main Make: a set of four nesting dolls that fit together using the fiendish flange-and-gallery join – a 'disgusting task', as one potter describes it.

Who'll make it through?
