Cherry, meanwhile, goes beyond the factory floor to investigate the negative effects of skipping the first meal of the day and find out why nutrients are added to breakfast cereals. Also on board is historian Ruth Goodman, who looks at what sort of foods we were eating before cereal became a breakfast staple.
