The second leg of her Japanese adventure begins in bustling Tokyo, where highlights include a helicopter ride over the city and a night on the tiles to see 18-piece girl band Kamen Joshi (literally 'Masked Girls') in concert. Heading south, Joanna makes a pit stop at the legendary Mount Fuji before arriving in the ancient capital of Kyoto.

After searching for its famous cherry blossom, Joanna learns more about the fascinating – and normally secretive – world of geisha, from 18-year-old trainee Maiko Tomitsuyu. Wonderful!
