Kathy Beale is back in the Square!

Phil receives a worrying call and heads to The Arches, where he finds Kathy! She begs him for help, but it's clear that Phil is furious with her for coming to the Square.

Sharon asks Abi to visits Max to convince him to plead guilty. When Abi insists she can't face him, Sharon persuades her to write him a letter instead. Volunteering to go to the prison with Phil, Sharon reads out Abi's letter to Max, encouraging him to plead guilty for the sake of his family. Sharon and Phil are shocked when Max insists he's innocent, introducing them to his new brief, Marcus Christie...

Jane offers to go with Cindy and Liam to Germany when Cindy gets cold feet. Realising Jane is serious, Ian insists that he's not ready to leave Walford. When Cindy uses the money Jane gave her to buy back Jane's wedding ring, Jane is touched. The moment turns sour when Jane and Ian reveal they're staying in Walford. After seemingly making amends with Cindy, Jane and Ian say an emotional goodbye. Cindy emails something before she goes...

Meanwhile, Sharon is waiting for Ian and Jane in the Beales' when an email arrives on Bobby's laptop. Sharon is stunned to find a video message from Cindy, telling Bobby that he killed Lucy!

Also, Claudette encourages Les to tell Pam the truth.
