The third series of BBC1’s The Met: Policing London, following the Metropolitan Police, Britain’s biggest police force, begins in Selhurst, south London, with a woman on a bus saying she has been raped.

The Sapphire Unit, which focus on sexual offences, take on the case and using CCTV are able to track the movements of the victim and suspect, obtaining a clear picture of his face.

Alongside DNA evidence and the description from the victim, the team hope they have a strong case.
