As the Monaco Grand Prix revs up Brit Lewis Hamilton tops the Driver Standings with 95 points, 17 ahead of his German rival

It’s early days, but there’s starting to be some daylight between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, with the Brit topping the Driver Standings with 95 points, 17 ahead of the German.

So here in Monaco, in probably the most prestigious race of the season (start 2.10pm), Vettel needs to put the pressure on.

He won here last year, while Hamilton was seventh and Vettel had a 25-point championship lead.

Can he catch Hamilton this time around?
