Neighbours spoilers: Toadie discovers Dee's true feelings...

Neighbours, Toadie Rebecchi, Dee Bliss

Toadie is left reeling when first wife Dee admits she's still in love with him! Will he agree to give their past relationship another chance?

Dee Bliss (played by Madeleine West) has been left feeling hurt and confused on Neighbours after being asked to back-off from Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) by his protective brother, Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) and his wife Dipi (Sharon Johal).

It's only been a few months since Toadie's wife Sonya died from cancer so Shane and Dipi are worried after discovering Dee is still secretly in love with him.

However, their warning backfires when Dee starts avoiding Toadie altogether. And it's not long before the legal eagle senses something's going on.

When Toadie confronts her, Dee decides to seize the moment and reveal she's falling for him all over again. But with Sonya not long gone, can Toadie really consider giving things another go with Dee?

Meanwhile, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is still recovering from his assault injuries and determined to see his accused attacker Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) behind bars.

Paul puts pressure on tram owner Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) to boot Gary off the renovation project before the grand opening of the tram.

But the plot thickens when Gary's mum Sheila (Colette Mann) discovers a crowbar wrapped in a bloodied rag hidden in the grass behind the tram.

Realising this is the weapon the police are looking for, Sheila realises it's only a matter of time before Paul finds out and finds a way to pin the crime on Gary.

But how far is Sheila prepared to go to protect her son?

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
